Karolina Decker, is a long-standing financial expert, entrepreneur, mother and, as co-founder of finmarie, Mind the Gap e.V. and Schulgold, she is particularly committed to financial education for women and students.
After earning two master’s degrees in business, Karolina initially began a 10-year career as an executive in international banks, working with projects in asset and wealth management and compliance.
She became one of the few female traders.
Early on, Karolina realized that women have a different approach to their wealth accumulation, ask different questions, have different needs and goals.
Far too few women take an active approach to their financial situation and future. Karolina has been involved in financial education since 2017 with her non-profit organization ‘Mind The Gap’ and in 2018 with finmarie. She is considered one of the pioneers in this field.
